About Mrs. Sheffield:
Mrs. Sheffield grew up in Katy, Texas and graduated from Katy High School. She then obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Agriculture with emphasis in Agricultural Business and minors in Secondary Education and History from Sam Houston State University. Upon graduation, she started her Masters in Agriculture and began working as a graduate research assistant to aide in the creation of a professional development course for Advanced Animal Science through the Texas Education Agency and USDA. Mrs. Sheffield obtained her Art EC-12 certification and is also certified in Artificial Insemination in Cattle through Bovine Elite. She taught for three years at Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, TX before coming to Tompkins High School in 2014. The 2020-2021 school year will be her 10th year of teaching.
